Taxes and fees

Last updated: 26 Jul 2026

A quoted airfare is made up of several components set by the airline and by governments, not by Airlaza. This page explains what's in that number.

What's inside the airline fare

  • Base fare — the airline's price for the seat and cabin
  • Carrier-imposed surcharges — set by the airline, common on long-haul premium cabin fares
  • Government and airport taxes — vary by country and airport, set by the relevant authority, not the airline or Airlaza
  • Airport and security fees — charged by individual airports on the itinerary

What's separate

Airlaza's own service fee (see Our service fees) is shown as its own line item, never folded into the taxes and fees figure above. This keeps the two clearly distinguishable on your quote: what the airline and governments charge, and what Airlaza charges for arranging the booking.

Currency

Fares are quoted in the currency shown on your quote. If your card is charged in a different currency by your bank, your bank's own conversion rate and any foreign transaction fee will apply — these are set by your card issuer, not by Airlaza.
