Post-ticketing service fees

Last updated: 26 Jul 2026

Once a ticket is issued, any change to it — a date change, a name correction, a cabin change — has two components: whatever the airline's own fare rules allow and charge for that change, and a separate Airlaza service fee for handling it on your behalf.

What's separate from the airline's own charge

  • Voluntary changes — a date or routing change you request. The airline's change fee and fare difference (if any) apply per that ticket's fare rules; our service fee covers the work of processing it with the airline.
  • Voluntary cancellations — see Cancellation policy for how refundability depends on the fare you booked.
  • Name corrections — minor corrections are usually possible; full name changes generally are not, per standard airline policy.

What's not charged extra

If an airline cancels, reschedules or significantly changes your flight, contacting us to rebook or process the airline's own compensation is not treated as a voluntary change and is not subject to an additional Airlaza service fee.

How the fee is confirmed

Before any change is processed, we confirm the airline's charge and our service fee together, in writing, so you can decide whether to proceed before anything is charged.
